Inspired by the Nelson Marshmallow Sofa, created by George Nelson and Irving Harper in 1956. With its distinctive grid of individual circular cushion pads on a slim metal frame, the Marshmallow Sofa was one of the most playful and visually radical designs of the mid-century modern era, a piece that looked like it was having fun and invited everyone else to do the same. Here, it clearly still is.

My designs are for the maximalists, the romantics, the bold souls who believe a home should feel like something. The ones who walk into a room and think the walls look a little too quiet, surely we can do better than that.

I have always been drawn to art with feeling, work that pulls you in, holds your attention and makes a space feel lived-in and loved. A Life Less Ordinary does exactly that.
