Inspired by the Womb Chair, originally the Model 70, designed by Eero Saarinen and released in 1948. Created at the request of Florence Knoll, who wanted a chair you could truly curl up in, the Womb Chair became one of the most beloved and recognisable silhouettes of the mid-century modern movement, a design that understood comfort and sculpture were not mutually exclusive. Here, it has found its most natural setting.

My designs are for the maximalists, the romantics, the bold souls who believe a home should feel like something. The ones who walk into a room and think the walls look a little too quiet, surely we can do better than that.
