Silk Trees Under Moonlight rises from a sea of golden waves, three sculptural Albizia trees reaching upward in the dark, their coral and blush powder-puff blossoms glowing like lanterns against a deep dark background. The gold linework is precise and luminous, the seigaiha wave pattern at the base a quiet nod to Japanese decorative tradition, and the whole composition hums with a stillness that feels both ancient and alive.

Inspired by my love of gardens and the rich tradition of Japanese botanical illustration, this print brings together the drama of dark backgrounds, the warmth of gold, and the softness of flowering trees in full bloom.

My designs are for the maximalists, the romantics, the bold souls, the quietly dangerous women, and anyone who has ever looked at a blank wall and thought: surely we can do better than that.
