Inspired by the Finn Juhl 45 Chair, designed in 1945. With its sculpted wooden frame, flowing armrests and upholstered seat and back visually separated from the frame, the 45 Chair was a radical departure from the furniture of its time, a design that treated the chair as sculpture first and seating second. It remains one of the most graceful silhouettes in the history of mid-century modern design.

My designs are for the maximalists, the romantics, the bold souls who believe a home should feel like something. The ones who walk into a room and think the walls look a little too quiet, surely we can do better than that.
