Inspired by the Swan Chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. With its sculpted organic shell form, swivel base and seamless upholstery, the Swan Chair was a radical departure from the angular furniture of its era, a design that looked as though it had grown rather than been built. Here, surrounded by tulips, that feels entirely appropriate.

My designs are for the maximalists, the romantics, the bold souls who believe a home should feel like something. The ones who walk into a room and think the walls look a little too quiet, surely we can do better than that.
